Utilities are a significant expense and rising cost in managing a rental property.  If you’re a landlord that included utilities in the rent and see an upward trend in bills, spike, or just general high utility levels, this landlord form is just for you.  The sample wording is structured around high usage observed over the past 3 billing cycles.  However, you can always amend the wording to include additional cycles and/or utilities as well. The main purpose of this form is to warn the tenant that the included utilities are too high and more care must be taken to reduce energy consumption otherwise additional measures will be taken.
