The relationship between landlords and tenants should never be antagonizing or tension-filled.  The central tenet of the relationship is that it is a mutually beneficial partnership  Since each side needs each other, it is in every landlord’s best interest to see how they are doing from the tenant’s perspective.  I find no better tool to achieve this than through a quick survey. While there may be dozens of tenant surveys on the market, the whole point of a survey is to be effective and garner a high reply rate.  I’ve designed a survey that asks the key questions designed to draw your tenants into revealing their feelings about the tenancy.  It’s concise but well-designed so as not to overwhelm the recipient.  The power of a good survey is that its responses can help you be a better landlord which also means a more successful and profitable one as well. I should mention that even the act of handing out satisfaction surveys demonstrates to tenants that you take them and your role seriously and genuinely care about what the have to say.
